Miguel Santistevan
Miguel Santiesteban is a youth counselor and educator in Northern New Mexico.  Having witnessed firsthand the negative effects of drugs on his community, Miguel participated in the founding meeting of the Parent Corps in Atlanta, working with members to create a positive and firm message that not only educates kids about the dangers of drug use, but also encourages them to be active members of their communities.  A strong believer in the power of education to steer kids away from drugs, Miguel .  "If I was the drug czar," he says,  "I would eliminate half of my budget, and give it to the public schools."
